Good Afternoon,
I have always been proud to work at Lawrence High School. I believe in the motto Diversity, Pride and Tradition and I think the students and staff represent the best of those values.Recent events in our country, the murder of George Floyd and all of the subsequent protests, during a worldwide Pandemic, have left us all with many emotions and feelings. I would like to invite you to join with me and some of our support staff for a 10th grade assembly tomorrow morning at 9:15. If you have class and would like to be excused I will notify your teacher. This is an opportunity for you to make your voice heard. We are here to listen. You can use the link for this google classroom, hope to see you then.

Lawrence is one community of kindness and strength.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

In these challenging times we would like to make families aware of an increase to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). If families already get SNAP benefits, additional funding will be sent to the benefit card.
Any family NOT already receiving SNAP, but qualifying for the school Free and Reduced lunch program will be mailed a card that will be able to be used in the same way. There will be payments for March and April, and another for May and June.
The funding stream is not from DSS, rather from the Office of Temporary Disability Services. Families will not have to apply separately for this benefit.
We know that across the state Seniors are disappointed about graduation ceremonies. All Didtricts are struggling with this disappointment. Please see regulations regarding no gathering larger than 10 people. We are making a variety of plans for our hardworking, well deserving Class of 2020.
It’s Senior sign day ! Seniors, come by the HS today up until 2 pm, your signs are waiting for you along with your administrative team.
Hello Seniors and Parents, I hope you are all well.
Tomorrow, Friday, May 22nd from 8AM-2PM will be Senior Sign Pickup, drive-up style at the front of LHS. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!
Be well,
Dr. Lagnado-Papp
