Detective Duhaney visited Mr. Yaker's classes to discuss the role of police in the community. She spoke of social issues, law enforcement as a career option and what her daily responsibilities include. Thank you to Detective Duhaney for all that you do!

Congratulations to the Lawrence High School Boys & Girls Track and Field teams as they brought home multiple medals at Saturday's Massapequa Invitational Meet. Medaling for the Golden Tornadoes were: Melodie Edwards, Danica Hance, Mikayla Manning, Nyla Nixon, Chelsea Perard, Daniela Portillo, Azoria Rickenbacker, Hailey Samuels, Angel Bran, Zaire Garraway Weddington, Nathaniel (Eli) Libkind, Eliel Morales, Shahid Nelson, Ricky Rickenbacker, Kanye Robinson, Don Smalls III, Julian Thompson and Andrew Williams. Very proud of all our student-athletes!

The National Honor Society was founded in 1921 and since has recognized the leadership skills, integrity, character, dedication to the community, and scholastic achievement.
