Lawrence High School students competed at the Long Island Math Fair, sponsored by the Association of Mathematics Supervisors of Long Island, on Friday, March 28 at Hofstra University. The fair gives students the opportunity to explore topics in mathematics outside of the traditional classroom. Of the 30 LHS students who presented, 20 won medals and 10 were acknowledged as Honorable Mention! Congratulations to our hardworking math students!


Lawrence High School is hosting a FREE virtual workshop focused on the 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX) for Parents and Community Members. This workshop is orchestrated through our partnership with BOCES Family and Community Engagement Program.

Students from Ms. Wolkoff's, Ms. Ratnoff's and Ms. Magliaro's classes visited the Center for Jewish History to view "Anne Frank The Exhibition." Their visit was part of an interdisciplinary project between English and Social Studies as a way to put into context what they learned in their Global History class and from reading the novel "Night."
