Dear Juniors, Now is the time to start preparing for either the SAT or the ACT. Both tests are used as college entrance exams. Please see the attached links where you can learn more information about preparing for either the SAT or ACT. Typically, Juniors will take either exam in the Spring of Junior year and possibly again in the very beginning of Senior year. You must register well in advance for either exam. Please speak with your counselor with any questions or if you need assistance in registering for either exam. We also can provide fee waivers for this exam for eligible students. Good luck! On Friday October 28 some of our Lawrence students were able to visit Molloy University, who hosted a college fair where over 40 different college admissions representatives were in attendance. This program was sponsored by National Hispanic College Fairs Inc. Students were able to obtain lots of useful information from many colleges and have many questions answered regarding the college process.

Ms. Ratnoff and Ms. Rabanal’s English class visited the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center in Glen Cove after reading the book “Night” by Elie Wiesel. Students were given a tour of the Museum and were given an opportunity to hear a real like survivor’s story from his son. Thank you Ms. Ratnoff and Ms. Rabanal for this great opportunity for Lawrence students to learn about the Holocaust.
