Lawrence Primary School Hosts Annual Pumpkin Patch Celebration

LAWRENCE, NEW YORK (NOVEMBER 2024)—Lawrence Primary School hosted its annual pumpkin patch, a beloved fall tradition that brings together students, families, and the community for a day of fun and festivities. The event was a resounding success thanks to the tireless efforts of our wonderful Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), who handled all the planning, setup, and coordination.

This year's celebration featured an array of seasonal activities, including pumpkin picking, games, and crafts, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter and joy. A special highlight was the full-sized, scarecrow crafted and stuffed by Ms. Brown and her enthusiastic 2nd-grade class, which now stands proudly in our school courtyard and adds to the festive spirit.

“We are grateful to our PTA for their hard work and dedication in making this event possible,” said Dr. Kristen Panzarella, Principal of Lawrence Primary School. “The pumpkin patch is not just about pumpkins; it’s about building community and celebrating the joys of fall together.”

The pumpkin patch is one of many fall festivities at Lawrence, where students and families come together to create lasting memories. We look forward to continuing this cherished tradition for years to come.
