LAWRENCE, NEW YORK (OCTOBER 2024)—Lawrence Primary School recently welcomed representatives from the Nassau County Police Department to educate students about the importance of digital citizenship and internet safety. The visit provided an engaging and informative experience for students eager to learn how to navigate the online world responsibly.

Officer Grande led the session, discussing key topics related to internet safety, including responsible social media use, protecting personal information, and recognizing online threats. Students participated in interactive discussions, asking questions and developing skills needed to make responsible decisions in their digital lives. Through engaging activities and real-life scenarios, students learned how to approach online interactions thoughtfully and safely.
