Attention all students: This Thursday, September 15th will be the last day to make any
changes to your schedule. Please be sure to email your counselor with any changes
you are requesting.
Students with Chromebook issues – Mr. Ballantyne
Mr. Wiebke will be in the old dance studio across from the auditorium every day this
week during periods 4, 5, and 6 to help all students who need chrome book repairs.
Students must bring their chrome book and charger with them to get a replacement.
Stolen and Lost chargers will not be replaced by the school and students must purchase
their own replacements if they lose their charger.

Drama Club – Advisor Ms. Goldman
Do you like, to act, sing, dance or all of the above? Well then you should come to the
first Drama Club meeting of the year, this Friday right after school at 2:45 PM, in the
chorus room, to find out about all the exciting, dark and comedic shows we will be
putting on stage this year! See you then!!
TRI-M Music Honor Society – Advisor
ATTENTION ALL TRI M MUSIC HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS!!!!!
This week on Thursday September 15th will be our FIRST meeting of the year! All
membership is required to be in attendance! We will be discussing many things that will
be happening this year! The meeting will be starting in the Auditorium at 2:45 SHARP!
Don't get a FLAT tire on the way there; it would be very unNATURAL if you were!

Free Lunch and Breakfast Available
Just a reminder that this year Breakfast and Lunch is available to all students
throughout this school year. You will only be charged if you want a second meal or for
snack. If you do not have a lunch period please remember to pre order your lunch by
8:00 am. You are able to order up to 3 days in advance so that you don’t forget.
LHS College Financial Aid Planning Night – Advisor – Mr. Diamond
Attention Senior Class!
On Wednesday, September 21 st , please join the High School Guidance Department as
we host, Mr. Gene Rogers, from Molloy University. Mr. Rogers will present information
about applying for financial aid and will also answer questions that you or your parents
may have about getting help to pay for college. This presentation will take place in the
High School cafeteria and will start promptly at 6:30 pm on September 21 st .
Senior Car Wash – Advisor – Ms. Bayeva
Our Senior Car Wash got rained out, please stay calm - it just got Bigger and Better for
this weekend.

Senior News – Advisor – Ms. Weinstein
Attention all seniors: important announcement. Please go to room 317 and see Ms
Weinstein for your senior portrait appointment card. She will give you a card with all the
information regarding date, time, location, pricing and attire. Again- please stop by room
317 sometime today to receive your appointment card.
Summer Reading Program – Ms. Stanley
All summer reading assignments are due on Friday, September 23 rd . Regents level s will
count the assignment as a quiz grade. Honors and AP students should check with their
teacher. Students can access all assignments on the LHS website under Documents
2022, Summer reading.
All students who complete the assignment will be added to the raffle. Three lucky
winners will receive prizes.
