Students with Chromebook issues – Mr. Ballantyne
Mr. Wiebke will be in the old dance studio across from the auditorium every day this week during periods 4, 5, and 6 to help all students who need chrome book repairs. Students must bring their chrome book and charger with them to get a replacement. Stolen and Lost chargers will not be replaced by the school and students must purchase their own replacements if they lose their charger.
Color Guard – Advisor – Mr. Stabile and Mr. Gerson 
Anyone interested in joining Color Guard should attend the first practice tonight from 7PM to 8:30PM in the cafeteria, Use the front doors to the main lobby. Mr. Gerson is running rehearsals. Any questions during the school day see Mr. Stabile in the Music Department - remember no experience necessary and this open to grades 9-12 both girls and guys.

Drama Club – Advisor Ms. Goldman
Do you like, to act, sing, dance or all of the above? Well then you should come to the first Drama Club meeting of the year, this Friday right after school at 2:45 PM, in the chorus room, to find out about all the exciting, dark and comedic shows we will be putting on stage this year! LHS Color Guard – Advisor – Mr. Stabile
Do you like to perform or dance? Are you looking for a new way to show your Lawrence Pride? Maybe join your first club at LHS? The Color Guard is featured with the Band at the Fall Pep Rally, Homecoming and the Memorial Day Parades. We now have openings for all grade levels including 9th graders. First practice is next today at 7pm in the Cafeteria. No experience necessary.
Honor’s String Ensemble – Advisor – Mr. Krahm
The first session of Honor's String Ensemble will be taking place today. Rehearsal will take place in the Auditorium starting at 5 PM!!! Can't wait to see you all there!!

Congratulations to the following musicians for their performances throughout the weekend Musicians performed at LHS 9/11 ceremony Friday morning, the Varsity Football game and then on Sunday at the 9/11 Ceremony at the Cedarhurst Village. Leslie Melendez-Melgar, Sivan Laniado, Alexandra Acosta, Alexis Acosta, Stephanie Lopez.

Congratulations to the following LHS Musicians: Leslie Melendez-Melgar, Sivan Laniado, Alexandra Acosta, Alexis Acosta, Stephanie Lopez, Emma Urgen Danielle Domanas, Didier Gordillo Bermeo and Farooq Ali. Under the leadership of Ms. Goldman and Mr. Krahm they all performed beautifully at the September 11th Ceremony at Cedarhurst Village 
Hall yesterday afternoon. In addition, Leslie, Sivan,Alexandra, Alexa and Stephanie sang at our LHS ceremony on Friday morning and Alexandra and Alexis also sang at the Varsity football game on Saturday.

Just a reminder that this year Breakfast and Lunch is available to all students throughout this school year. You will only be charged if you want a second meal or for snack. If you do not have a lunch period please remember to pre order your lunch by 8:00 am. You are able to order up to 3 days in advance so that you don’t forget. 

LHS College Financial Aid Planning Night – Advisor – Mr. Diamond
Attention Senior Class!

On Wednesday, September 21st, please join the High School Guidance Department as we host, Mr. Gene Rogers, from Molloy University.  Mr. Rogers will present information about applying for financial aid and will also answer questions that you or your parents may have about getting help to pay for college.  This presentation will take place in the High School cafeteria and will start promptly at 6:30 pm on September 21st.
