Attention Seniors! Yearbook will be meeting next Tuesday right after school in room
317. We will be discussing theme and general yearbook operations. Don’t sit on the
sidelines - come get involved and have a say in how the senior class will be
remembered for years to come. The yearbook takes a lot of work, from photography,
captioning, creative layout, theme integration, sports coverage etc, and all help is
appreciated. Juniors, sophomores and freshman are welcome too! See you next
Tuesday in room 317 after school!
Cross Country – Mr. Callahan - Advisor
Looking for a great workout? We are looking for students for both our Boys and Girls
Cross Country Teams! No experience in running is needed. Practices are every day,
after school, at 3:15. Come join us! Any questions see Mr. Callahan in Room 211
Athletics – Mr. Supple – Advisor
Attention all athletes!! If you are interested in playing a Fall Sport there is still time to try
out.
Football, Girls and Boys Soccer, Cross Country Track and Girls Tennis are still holding
tryouts.
If you want to try out for one of these teams please see Mr. Supple in the Athletic Office

High School Soccer- Advisor – Mr. Walker
The girls soccer team could still use players. If you want to play girls soccer see Mr
Walker or Mr. Spinelli.
Music Department – Advisor Mr. Stabile
Lawrence High School takes pride in announcing that the following students were
accepted into the NYSSMA ALL- State Performing Ensembles. Performing in the
Symphony Orchestra are Emma Urgen and Matthew Sharin. Performing in the Mixed
Chorus is Stephanie Lopez. Literally thousands of students from across New York State
auditioned last spring for these prestigious ensembles. Emma , Matthew and Stephanie
will travel to Rochester this December and perform at the world renowned Eastman
School of Music Concert Hall. We are so proud of them!
