"Girls Who Code" will be meeting after school today. All Genders are welcomed!
Key Club – Advisor – Ms. Swain
On April 9th there will be a PROM BOUTIQUE taking place at Nassau Community College. Seniors can shop for FREE for prom dresses and accessories. If you are interested, please see Ms. Swain in ROOM 300 to register.
Model Congress – Advisor – Ms. Gerard
Congratulations to Lawrence Model Congress on their second win this year! This is the first time any delegation in United Model congress won best delegation twice in a row in years. Lawrence won first place in two entertainments, first place in cheers, and various delegates won awards in committee, house and senate. Our last foreign congress before LMC on April 30th is next week at Long Beach high school, so wish our Lawrence delegates good luck for a third win in a row! 

Our next meeting is tomorrow in room 329 and if you want to buy an LMC shirt, they are $17! With any questions see our board members, Gabby Domanas, Kaitlyn Schwanemann, Samantha Ezihie, James Kelley, Ana Herrera, and Xian Scott

Varsity Softball – Advisor – Mr. Supple
Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team on their 17-15 victory over Uniondale on Friday. Chloe Schillio and Ariana Watson each hit a homerun. Gabby Guevara struck out 8 batters over 4 innings to earn the Win. The Lady Tornadoes are now 2 and 0 in league. The Varsity team plays Valley Stream Central in a league game today. Good luck ladies!
Vocational Careers Academy Life Skills Students
The Vocational Careers Academy/Life Skills Students will be selling “Spring Gifts” in the front lobby on Friday April 8th and Wednesday April 13th during 3rd and 6th periods. The students will be selling decorative Spring themed buckets that will contain sunflower seeds and Hershey’s kisses candy for $5. Two dollars out of every bucket sold will be given to UNICEF’s efforts to support the children of the Ukraine. Come on out and support the Vocational Careers Academy/Life Skills Students for this important Spring Sales event.
