Congratulations to the Girls Varsity
Game 1:
The Lawrence Varsity Softball Team defeated Hempstead in Game 1 of a double header on Saturday morning at 10 am.
Cynthia Saravia led the way offensively going 2 for 2 with 4 runs scored, a triple, a homerun, and 5 RBI's! Way to go Cynthia!
Madison Ramos also provided an offensive spark going 2 for 3 with a homerun and 6 RBI's! Great job Maddie!
Stephanie Vinas was the winning pitcher, throwing a dominant 5 inning, 10 strikeout performance! This brings her record on the season to 2-0. She also went 1/1 with 4 runs at the plate. Great all around game Steph!
The Lawrence Golden Tornadoes Softball Team improved to 2-0 after this victory. Excellent job girls. Keep working hard and more good things will happen!
Game 2:
Lawrence defeated Hempstead 16-2 in game 2 of the double header on Saturday.
Leading the way offensively in this at the game was Sunia Stays. She was 3/3 with 2 runs scored and 6 RBI. Way to rake Su!
Madison Ramos was the winning pitcher (1-0) and Chloe Schillio added 3 RBI with a second inning double.
