The Hebrew Cultural Club will be holding our first meeting of the year today, September 9th in room 222.

This club is open to everyone. You do not have to speak Hebrew or be of any particular religion. We are all one here.

Homecoming
Homecoming is coming to our town the week of September 21-26 and your help is needed to make it absolutely Epic!
Get ready to deck out the school and yourself in Blue and Gold, cheer louder than ever, and make memories that will last all year and beyond!!! Whether you are a freshman or a Senior - only you can show the world what school spirit looks like cheering on our Team!!!

Football News
Attention all students interested in playing football during the 2026 season!
ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS ARE WELCOME!
Whether you have played football before or are brand new to the game, there is a place for you on the Lawrence Football team.
WE ALSO HAVE BILINGUAL COACHES!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
See Mr. Verone in Room 128 during lunch periods or throughout the school day.
You can also visit the Athletics Office on the first floor.
All coaches are available right after school until 3:00 PM, when practice begins.

By participating in the 2026 Lawrence Football Season, students will have the opportunity to:
Earn extracurricular credit that can be included on college transcripts.
Earn community service hours by working with our local Inwood-Lawrence Police Activity League (PAL) football team.
And develop skills that will benefit you throughout life.

Quiz Bowl
Quiz Bowl will meet tomorrow afternoon in room 322. Come down and see what we are all about. All are welcome!
Color Guard/Drill Team
Join the excitement at this year's Pep Rally and Homecoming by twirling our school flag and marching with the Color Guard. Come to room 222 this Thursday to sign up and get more information.
National Honor Society
Dear members of the National Honor Society! It is time to elect the officers who you trust to represent your interests in full! Please nominate the President, Vice President, Secretary, and the Treasurer by voting for each in the form provided on our page. The Officers will be confirmed during our First meeting is tomorrow, Thursday, September 10, in rm 121 right after school.

Math Mentors
Do you like helping other people? Are you interested in getting your community service hours done? Become a Math Mentor! This is a great way to earn community service and give back the LHS community. This club meets on Wednesdays, starting today, after school, in the library.
