Now more than ever it is so important that if you’re able to donate blood to do so because NY state is experiencing a critical blood supply shortage. If you are 16 or older you may be eligible to donate. If you are 16 you will need to get a permission slip filled out that you can pick up in room 317 or with Mr Ravo or Mr McQuillan. Just have your parents sign it and bring it with you on the day of the blood drive. You can make an appt by scanning the QR code in the blood drive ads that should be posted in your English Google Classroom or the senior Google Classroom. Or stop by room 317 and there is a flier on the door. Give blood this Friday and you can save 3 lives with just your one pint of blood. But wait there’s more! As an added incentive to being a hero and helping to save lives you will also get a box of Girls Scout Cookies!!! That’s right.
