Thursday April 16 Innovate & Voluntary
Innovate: To introduce something new or create a new way of doing something; to make changes or improvements to existing ideas or methods.
The company decided to innovate by developing a smartphone app that would make shopping more convenient for customers.
Voluntary: Done, given, or acting of one's own free will without being forced or required; optional.
Participation in the after-school club is voluntary, so students can choose whether or not they want to join.
Quiz Bowl
Quiz Bowl will meet today, Thursday April 16th, for playoff practice.

GSA
The Nassau County Office of Hispanic Affairs is offering free Prom & Graduation Dresses for high school students in our community. This is by appointment only while supplies last. If you would like to make an appointment, please see Ms. Vilardi in room 300.
Senior Class
The Senior Class is hosting a car wash on Sunday April 19 at the high school from 10:30-12 pm. It is $10 per car. Come support the Senior class! Also, we will be selling drinks and candy bags today in the lobby for $3 each.
Hebrew Culture Club
The Hebrew Culture Club will meet today after school in the art room at 2:45. All are welcome!
Girls Basketball
Hello everyone...it is I the White Shadow...I know I know...you thought you were done with me now that the Spring Season is well under way...but alas I am here with one more short announcement...This past Monday I was able to attend the Nassau County Girls Basketball Awards Ceremony...and one of our own Elyse Francis was given an All Class Award labeling her one of the best female basketball players in Nassau County...just one more step further towards Lawrence Girls Basketball moving to the top of the heap!!! When you see Elyse say "congratulations!!!" or give her a head nod, fist bump, or whatever you young’uns do to show your appreciation...by the way I am currently recruiting players for next year's team...so look for announcements about our summer workouts coming soon...White Shadow out!!!
