Word of the Day
Friday 2/6 Aggregate & Allocate
Aggregate: A whole formed by combining several elements to collect or gather into a total.
The district will aggregate test scores from all schools to analyze overall progress.
Allocate: To distribute resources or duties for a specific purpose.
The budget committee decided to allocate additional funds to classroom technology.
MW: Juxtapose: To place two or more things side by side, especially to highlight their differences or create an interesting effect.
The artist chose to juxtapose bright colors with dark shadows to create a striking contrast on the canvas.
Freshman Class
The freshman trip is finally here! We will be going to the Empire State Building on Tuesday, March 10th. The cost of the trip is $15. Money and permission trips should be brought to your social studies teacher or Ms. Eisner in room 325. Permission slips and money are due by February 10th. We hope to see you there!!
Key Club
The Key club is sponsoring this year’s coat drive. We will be collecting unused coats, hats, scarves and gloves to help keep our community warm scarves has already been a tough winter, especially for those in need of proper clothing. Please help out and earn community service hours. There is a collection in the main lobby.
Color Guard
The Drill Team aka Color Guard will be resuming our meeting this Monday February 9.

Latin American Club
Attention Latin American Club members: Payment of $35 cash is due by next Wednesday, February 11 for the April 15 theater trip to NYC. This due date WILL NOT be extended. You can see Dr. Yochai in Room 229, most days 5th period or, email her and she will make arrangements to meet you. This is a fun and educational event. Don't miss out. Again...last day to purchase tickets in next Wednesday.
TRI-M
Tri-M presents: "Be the Champion" Super Bowl Raffle!!
For a dollar you can predict which of the two teams YOU think will win Super Bowl 60!!! Either you'll be singing "We are the Champions" or "Hey, Hey, Hey, Goodbye" after the BIG game on Sunday!!
If your team wins? Next Friday's TNN we will be declaring our champion! We will be drawing the ticket for the person who will win our football themed basket of fun and goodies!!
Tickets will be sold TODAY ONLY during lunch periods!! Come on down and get a chance to SCORE and be able to SING your way to victory!!

Junior Class
We're back! The Junior Class is selling roses on Friday February 13 during periods 4,5,6 in the lobby! Our google form will be a qr code that you can scan is also available to order in advance for your Valentines.
Drama Club
Tonight’s your last chance to see the Mainstage musical ANASTASIA!!! Tickets will be sold periods 4, 5 and 6 as well as at the door tonight!!! Student tickets are $5 and adult tickets are $10! Come immerse yourself in the world of theatre where you’ll travel from post-revolutionary Russia to 1920s Paris, following the story of Anya who has no memory of the past but believes she is the lost Grand duchess Anastasia Romanov. Come see this Broadway level performance, see you TONIGHT!!!
