Monday 2/2 Subsidy & Trace
Subsidy: A government payment or financial aid given to support an industry, organization, or individual.
The city offered a subsidy to local farmers so they could lower prices for fresh produce.
Trace: To follow or discover the origin, development, or path of something; a very small amount or sign that remains.
Scientists were able to trace the source of the pollution to a single factory upstream.
MW: Icon - a visual symbol, image, or representation that signifies a concept, object, or person, designed to be easily recognized.

Freshman Class
The freshman trip is finally here! We will be going to the Empire State Building on Tuesday, March 10th. The cost of the trip is $15. Money and permission trips should be brought to your social studies teacher or Ms. Eisner in room 325. Permission slips and money are due by February 10th. We hope to see you there!!
Sophomore Class
Get ready to jump into an unforgettable experience! The 10th grade class is heading to Sky Zone on Thursday, March 19th, and it's going to be an action-packed day full of fun, energy, and memories with your friends. From trampolines to games and nonstop excitement, this is trip you don't want to miss!! The cost of the trip is $65. Please get a permission slip from Ms. Eisner in room 325. Permission slips and money is due by February 13th!
Varsity Baseball
Attention: If you are interested in playing Baseball, there will be a Baseball meeting held next Wednesday, February 4th. We will meet in the cafeteria directly after school. Any questions please see Mr Crispin or Mr Ziff
Key Club
The Key club is sponsoring this year’s coat drive. We will be collecting unused coats, hats, scarves and gloves to help keep our community warm scarves has already been a tough winter, especially for those in need of proper clothing. Please help out and earn community service hours. There is a collection in the main lobby.
Drama Club
It’s that time of the year!!! Our drama club presents the main stage musical “Anastasia”!!!
Shows are this week, Thursday and Friday at 7PM. Tickets will be sold during lunch periods 4,5 and 6 this week. Tickets will also be sold at the door both show nights. Students tickets are $5 and $10 for adults. Hope to see you for this beautiful, magical production that the cast, crew and teachers have worked so hard on. See you then!
