Governor Cuomo announced last week that outdoor, socially-distant graduation ceremonies of up to 150 people are allowed starting June 26th. As a result, Lawrence High School's Grads in Gowns drive-up event has been canceled.
Instead, we will be holding four abbreviated graduation ceremonies on Monday, June 29th at 9:15AM, 10:30AM, 11:45AM and 1:00PM. Seniors, along with two guests will be allowed to attend one of these ceremonies. Seniors have been sent an email to their lawrence.org account asking them to select one of the four available time slots.
All graduates and attendees will be required to wear a face mask upon entering the LHS football field.
Lawrence High School will still hold a full, virtual graduation on Monday, June 29th at 7PM. The link to the virtual ceremony will be posted on the Lawrence High School website on June 29th.
