The high school drama club is proud to announce our first show of the year “Echoes of the stage…a rise to fame”. Come join us on Thursday, November 14th at 7pm as we time travel through the decades, and sing and dance our way through 100 years of theater. Tickets will be sold during lunch periods and at the door. Student tickets are $5 and adults are $10. Hope to see you there!

Coach Frier and Coach Manhartt would like to invite interested players to come train at our Open Gym for girls basketball today at 5:30 in the gym.
Make sure you are there...our players are not easily scared...we had a ton of fun...so did everyone...that came down to play...the winners will stay on the team and live out there dream...of being the best... and taking on the rest...but we will never know...if you don't take the test...everyone in the school will join us on this quest...they will be the reason...that we have a successful season...this is the year that we all will earn...there are 2 choices you either win or you learn…
Congratulations to the Boys' Varsity Volleyball team on their 3-2 comeback victory over New Hyde Park. Mailo Rozas broke the single game school record with 58 assists. Mailo also had 9 digs. Elijah Tolley recorded 25 kills and 4 blocks. Jacob Hooks added 23 kills, 6 digs and 3 aces. Derrick Reyes had 10 kills and a personal best 9 digs. Corey Shakur had 9 blocks, 6 kills, 6 digs and 3 aces. Angel Vazquez led the defense along with Fernando Larios who had 15 digs and Sehil Dhoundiyal who recorded 6 digs. The next game is the Semi-finals against Valley Stream North at Wantagh High School on Friday November 8 at 7:00 pm. Spectators must purchase tickets for the semi finals,come support our team!

Community Service Requirement
Lawrence High School students have logged 575 community service hours so far this year, and we know more students have completed hours that they have not logged yet in Passport for Good.
ALL students must complete 5 hours of community service per year and activity must be logged in P4G. See your social studies teacher, guidance counselor and/or grade level administrator for help. Check out the grade level google classrooms frequently for upcoming opportunities.
