Lawrence High School Partners Up with Monroe College

LAWRENCE, NEW YORK (DECEMBER 2023)—Lawrence High School students recently had the opportunity to take a significant step forward in their college application progress. The school’s guidance department partnered with Monroe College to host an event that empowered students to be admitted and register for classes. This event aimed to alleviate some of the overwhelming stress that high school students often face during the college application process.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with Monroe College to offer this valuable opportunity to our students,” said Dr. Jennifer Lagnado-Papp, Principal of Lawrence High School. “The college application process can be overwhelming and many students feel unsure about how to navigate it. This event allowed our students to gain valuable insights and take concrete steps toward their higher education goals. Thank you to our guidance department and Monroe College.”

The event brought together Lawrence High School seniors and representatives from Monroe College. Students were able to interact with college admissions professionals who provided guidance and support throughout the application process. The event featured workshops on topics such as essay writing, financial aid, and choosing the right major. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive personalized advice from the experts.
