Bathroom Announcement
Bathrooms will open 5 minutes after the period starts and close 5 minutes before the period ends. Teachers, please send one student at a time with a pass.
Substitute Information
Attention all students. This message is for all students who claim they have a free period. If your teacher is Absent, there most likely is a substitute in your classroom. You must go to class if there is a sub. If you are caught not being where you’re supposed to be, you will be given consequences. Make sure to check your class before going to the Library, Gym, Non- Coverage room, or wandering the hallways.

Community Chest Scholarship
Good Morning Seniors! The Community Chest is a local organization committed to assisting the Five Towns Community and inspiring others to demonstrate good citizenship. We are excited to announce that they are partnering with Lawrence High School this year to offer limited scholarships to exceptional students who maintain good grades, excellent attendance, model behavior and participate in some type of community service. The scholarship will cover the cost of the Senior Prom, Senior Trip, and a Yearbook for the recipients. Please log onto your Lawrence.org emails to fill out the application by Friday, December 15th to be considered. The recipients will be chosen by a committee and will be notified by December 22nd. You may direct any questions to your guidance counselor or Mr. Schiavo. .
English and Social Studies Regents Review sessions.
For the months of December and January, there will be extra help sessions that will be held in the mornings before school for English and Social Studies. Please see the schedules outside of the social studies and English classes. Thank you.
Senior News!
It is all fun and games until someone yells: "Bingo"!
Join your classmates for a great Senior "Citizen" Bingo Fun Night in our Cafeteria on December 13th, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.
It will start with a delicious Chinese cuisine dinner, then three (3) Bingo rounds with mini games in between!! For sweet-toothers to end the night with - "Make your sundae" dessert!
Cost: $16 all included. Pay Danica H, Ian P., Rachel D., or Ryan V. or Ms. Bayeva (r.121). Cash or Venmo
You MUST fill out the form on our Google Classroom page and pay NO LATER THEN DECEMBER 11th, 2:35 PM !! NO Walk-ins that night as everything must be purchased in advance!

ID’s
Good Morning LHS students. The ID machine is back running. ALL students must have an ID. If you need one, you may stop over to the "old dance studio" periods 4, 5, & 6. Mr. Rebel will assist you. Just a reminder, if you lose your ID, it costs $5 to replace.
Student Government News!
The 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade officers and your student government are collecting toys for the holidays to benefit the 5 Towns Community Center. Please bring in unwrapped toys for any and all ages. Drop off your toys in room 121 (Ms. Bayeva’s room), 323 (Mr. Ziff's room), 325 (Ms. Eisners room), or 331 (Mr. Walkers room). All toys need to be in by December 21st.
Science Research Club
Good Morning Lawrence High School, Science Research Club has begun. Please join us on Thursday afternoons in room 119! Have fun researching science concepts and do fun experiments! #ScienceDiscovery.
Hebrew Culture Club
Hebrew Culture Club will meet tomorrow in the Art Room 132 at 2:45 pm for a Hanukah Celebration!! Come join us!
National Art Honor Society
The National Art Honor Society will meet today in art room 132 at 2:45 pm. Come join our Holiday Card Decoration Day!
Latin American Club
There will be a Latin Club Meeting today, December 6th in Room 205, immediately after school. All are welcome. Come share and experience the rich and diverse Latin American Culture in our Lawrence High School Community.
Culinary Club
The Culinary club will be having a brief meeting on Thursday at 2:45 in room 319 to discuss upcoming events. Anyone interested in this new and exciting club is welcome to attend.
Athletic Club
Let's fundraise with a twist and make some dough for the Athletic Scholarship Fund with Philly style soft pretzels. Only $2.00. Quantities are limited so come on down after school today. Also, coming soon...Pretzel Dogs!
Multicultural Club
Good Morning!!! The Multicultural Club is selling Candy Ornaments for only $1!!! See a club member or Ms. Confino in room 308. You can purchase on the spot or arrange for delivery, within Lawrence High School, on Wednesday, December 20th. Send an ornament with a little note to friends, teachers, staff, anyone!!! Also, we're always looking for new members. All are welcome - Thursdays after school in room 308.
