Bathroom Announcement

Bathrooms will open 5 minutes after the period starts and close 5 minutes before the period ends. Teachers, please send one student at a time with a pass.

Substitute Information

Attention all students. This message is for all students who claim they have a free period. If your teacher is Absent, there most likely is a substitute in your classroom. You must go to class if there is a sub. If you are caught not being where you’re supposed to be, you will be given consequences. Make sure to check your class before going to the Library, Gym, Non- Coverage room, or wandering the hallways.

Community Chest Scholarship

Good Morning Seniors! The Community Chest is a local organization committed to assisting the Five Towns Community and inspiring others to demonstrate good citizenship. We are excited to announce that they are partnering with Lawrence High School this year to offer limited scholarships to exceptional students who maintain good grades, excellent attendance, model behavior and participate in some type of community service. The scholarship will cover the cost of the Senior Prom, Senior Trip, and a Yearbook for the recipients. Please log onto your Lawrence.org emails to fill out the application by Friday, December 15th to be considered. The recipients will be chosen by a committee and will be notified by December 22nd. You may direct any questions to your guidance counselor or Mr. Schiavo. .

Guidance News

On Tuesday, December 5th Monroe College will be holding an application day during periods 4, 5, and 6 in the large conference room next to the Guidance Office. A Monroe College representative will review transcripts and essays and may even accept students on site. If you wish to attend, please sign up in the Guidance Office.

LPS School Yard Clean Up

On December 2, 2023, at 10:00 am we are looking for people to come out and help clean up the school yard at the LPS campus. Meet at the front entrance on Donahue Avenue. If you are interested in helping, please see Ms. Stanley in the main office. Thank you

English and Social Studies Regents Review sessions.

For the months of December and January, there will be extra help sessions that will be held in the mornings before school for English and Social Studies. Please see the schedules outside of the social studies and English classes. Thank you.

Senior News!

It is all fun and games until someone yells: "Bingo"!

Join your classmates for a great Senior "Citizen" Bingo Fun Night in our Cafeteria on December 13th, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.

It will start with a delicious Chinese cuisine dinner, then three (3) Bingo rounds with mini games in between!! For sweet-toothers to end the night with - "Make your sundae" dessert!

Cost: $16 all included. Pay Danica H, Ian P., Rachel D., or Ryan V. or Ms. Bayeva (r.121). Cash or Venmo

You MUST fill out the form on our Google Classroom page and pay NO LATER THEN DECEMBER 11th, 2:35 PM !! NO Walk-ins that night as everything must be purchased in advance!
