Attention all students who do not have a lunch period.
Please be sure you have completed an L Pass application and have an L Pass sticker on the back on your ID.
Also, please remember to pre-order your lunch at the breakfast station in the main lobby each day and pick up your lunch on the 2nd floor by the elevator.
Beginning tomorrow, students with L-Passes will NOT be permitted to enter the cafeteria.
Cheerleading Tryouts – Advisor – Coach Winter and Coach Patrice
Cheerleading tryouts will take place after school at 3:45 pm in the gym. All grades are welcome.

Fall College Expo
Date: September 14, 2019
Time: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Location: SUNY College at Old Westbury
This huge event is sponsored by the Nassau Counselors Association and is hosted at a local college. It’s an excellent opportunity for students and their families to learn more about colleges and other institutions of higher education from around the country. Workshops will be offered on Financial Aid; the College Admissions Process; Students with special needs; and NCAA Guidelines for the student athlete. Over 200 schools plus military and career schools are represented. Last year, more than 4,000 students and their parents visited the Expo and we expect to have a terrific turnout this year as well. It’s FREE and a chance you simply won’t want to miss!
The 2019 Expo will be held SATURDAY, September 14th at SUNY College at Old Westbury.
Students must wear their school ID . If a student has misplaced their ID, we will print new ID’s for free until Friday, September 13th.
Key Club – Advisor – Mr. Mayo
Welcome back Lawrence High School. If you are interested in doing community service hours and helping around the school during events such as Homecoming, Spirit Week, Safe Trick or Treat and the yearly Blood Drive, join Key Club. Our first meeting is this Thursday, September 12th, afterschool at 2:45 pm. Should you have any questions please contact Mr. Mayo or attend our first meeting in room 125F in the old Sharp Suite.
Senior News – Advisor – Ms Bayeva
The Senior Assembly will take place on Friday, the 13th of September, period 2. The senior class photo will be taken at this time.
The Senior Car Wash Fundraiser will take place Sunday, September 15th, at 10:00 am in the student’s parking lot. Bring your car and tell your friends. $8.00 per car. Donations are welcomed!
Girls Varsity Soccer – Advisor – Ms. Brandow
Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Soccer team on their first win against Sewanhaka. The score was 1-0 and our goal was scored by Freshman Andie Adams, assisted by Amy Sharin. Great job girls!

Attention Seniors! It is time to start thinking about your class of 2020 yearbook! Come to a meeting to get in on the planning and creative input necessary to help build a fabulous yearbook. There are all kinds of jobs and we have a lot to do, so come help out Wednesday, right after school in room 317.
