Words of the Day

The words of the day are “vary” and “analyze.” Vary is a verb that means to differ in size, amount, or characteristic as in “Your skin’s moisture varies depending on weather conditions.” Analyze is a verb that means to examine in detail or to inspect, as in “The seniors need to analyze their attendance statistics more closely.”

Drama Club

The cast of students in The Diary of Anne Frank have been working diligently for two important and emotionally challenging performances, which will be held in the Little Theater, at 7PM, Wednesday and Thursday this week. This story emerges from history and is a retelling of a once living, gifted young girl and how she confronted her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her times. Come and witness the claustrophobic realities of the daily existence of eight individuals who lived in hiding for over two years—their fear, their hope, their laughter, their grief. Staff, families and students are welcome to join us for any of the two performances above. Student tickets are $5, and adults are $10. We will be selling tickets this week during

lunch periods 4, 5 and 6 in the lobby, so please stop by and reserve yourself a ticket (last year we sold out both nights!). Hope to see you then!

Attention LHS , Matthew’s Tremendous Trivia is here: This week’s trivia is going to be true or false: Answer the question correctly for a chance to win a prize. One student and one faculty member will be chosen Friday PM. James McLamore is the founder of Burger King True or False
