Today is National Signing Day! Today we are sending off a special athlete to pursue their sport at the collegiate level. Congratulations to Kendall Rose Levey for committing to Quinnipiac University, where she will join NCAA Acrobatic and Tumbling as a D1 ATHLETE!!!”

Bathroom Announcement

Bathrooms will open 5 minutes after the period starts and close 5 minutes before the period ends. Teachers, please send one student at a time with a pass.

Piece of Mind

Attention all creative writers! There will be a Piece of Mind Literary Magazine meeting on Monday’s at 2:45 in room 307. We are in need of new members, so please consider coming! See Mrs. Brandow for more information.

Community Service Opportunity Attention 10th, 11th and 12th graders who are bilingual. Translators are needed for the Parent- Teacher conferences at LES/MS for Thursday, November 16th from 4:40-7:30. Math Mentors

Need help in your math class? Peer tutoring is now available Monday's and Thursdays in the Library from 2:45-3:30 by the Math Mentors. Come get help with your homework or upcoming quiz or test. Today is our first meeting so come get help after school in the library!

College Visit

SUNY Potsdam will be visiting today, November 8th during period 6 in the Little Theatre.

Cheerleading Team

Interested in Cheerleading? Attend an information meeting tomorrow at 3:30pm in the cafeteria. No experience necessary!

Wrestling Team

Attention Wrestlers! If you are interested in joining the wrestling team this Winter, please attend an information meeting, tomorrow at 3pm in the cafeteria.

Latin American Club

Latin American Club will be meeting today (Wednesday) immediately after school in Room 305. Come out to discuss plans for ways to share members' Latin American culture this year. We also encourage new, prospective members to join the club to learn about the rich and diverse Latin American Culture. All are welcome.

Boys Varsity Volleyball

Congratulations to the following members of the Boys Varsity Volleyball team. Xavier Scott was Scholar-Athlete, Chris Cornejo was the Unsung Hero award. Elie Libkind and Derrick Reyes were chosen All-Conference. Elijah Tolley and Mailo Rozas were chosen as All-County. Congrats to all the boys on this years successful season.

Multicultural Club

Good Morning! The Multicultural Club will meet Thursday after school in room 308. We will be discussing our upcoming holiday fundraiser. See you there! If you are unable to attend, please see Ms. Confino during the day for updates.

SADD

SADD Club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) will be having a meeting Thursday at 2:45 in room 319. If you missed the meeting last week, it is not too late to join. We will be discussing officers and activities we will be participating in throughout the year. All are welcome!

National Art Honor Society

National Art Honor Society will meet today after school in art room 132.All members welcome , Come and participate we are working on creating an art display.

Athletic News

Let's fundraise with a twist and make some dough for the Athletic Scholarship Fund with Philly Style soft pretzels. Quantities are limited so come on down after school on Wednesdays. Hope to see you then!

5 Towns Community Center event

The 5 towns community center needs help with Rock and Wrap it up! Volunteers are needed for the Thanksgiving luncheon on 11/23:

7:30 am – 9:30 am

9:30 am – 12:00 pm

12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

There will also be a gift giving even in December.
