FHA – Advisor - Ms. Weinstein

Yearbook -Advisor – Ms. Weinstein 

Hello Seniors (and any interested freshman, sophomores or juniors)! We will be having our first yearbook meeting of the year this today, after school in room 317. We will be discussing how we want to lay out the book and coverage for the first events of the year. Drama Club Advisor – Advisor - Ms. Goldman

Bathrooms will be open 5 minutes after the bell and close 5 minutes before the bell. This means you must report first to your class and get a pass! 

Music Department – Advisor – Mr. Stabile 

Congratulations to the following music department students. On September 11th afternoon they performed patriotic music in Cedarhurst Park for the 9/11 ceremony for community members (including some who lost a loved one) assemblymen and congressmen. This is a true example of students doing good in their community. They are Sivan Laniado,,Leslie Melendez Melgar, Danica Hance, Ryan Vairo, Arbi Corbita, Naraya Robinson, Xavier Scott, Danielle Domanas, Ariana Watson, Macario Flores and Farooq Ali. Great work !

Attention, anyone who likes to argue, listen to yourself talk, or has strong opinions, please join us for our first model congress meeting on Monday September 18th in Mr. Calvo's room, room 324. Even if you don't enjoy those things I mentioned, there are talent events and sports events so there is something for everyone! OOO AHHH YOU WISH YOU WERE FROM LAWRENCE!

Boys Varsity Soccer – Advisor – Mr. Lagasse 

Yesterday, The Boy's Varsity Soccer team beat Valley Stream North 5-0. Jonathan Valiente and Luis Manrique each had a goal and an assist. Also, on the score sheet was Brandon Moran, Jorge Ortega and Kevin Mendoza, each with one goal. Gabriel Rosales made 5 saves to complete the shutout. Come support the team Thursday afternoon on our home field as they take on our 5 towns rival , Hewlett High School. Kickoff is at 4:30. 
 

Girls Volleyball  

The girls volleyball team will be selling delicious Krispy Kreme donuts for the next 2 weeks. $15 for a dozen with a variety of flavors to choose from. Get those orders is because you "Dough NOT" want to miss it! 

The volleyball team will also be selling custom bracelets, handcrafted with love throughout the month of September. 1 bracelet for $3 or 2 bracelets for $5. Contact Danica Hance, Mariah Ramous, or Krissy Cribs for more information or to place orders.
