Put your phones away, let's roller skate! Dance moves or tricks,let's roll it through the night till wheels fall off! We got you a brand new pair of roller skates at the Roll'n' Glow night in Massapequa United Skates arena on April 28, Friday, 7-9 pm. Cost: $23 Unlimited pizza, soda. 
Sign up on the GC and pay Ms Bayeva as the spots must be reserved this Friday.

Poetry Contest – English Department 

Calling all students, Faculty and staffFaculty and staff. The poetry contest has been extended until May 5th.

Do you have an animal in your life that you love? 

Is there an animal you wish you had in your life? 

Or is there an animal that you intensely dislike so much that you want to express your disdain in writing. Write a poem about an animal and submit to your English teacher. Faculty and staff can submit directly to Mrs. Stanley. 

 

Special Education News 

April is Autism Awareness Month. It is a time to recognize individual differences and move towards inclusion, appreciation and acceptance of all people. It is a time to acknowledge uniqueness and celebrate the accomplishment of others. It is a time to show compassion. It is a time to be aware and to take action. Lawrence, please join the Life Skills classes to shine a light on Autism Awareness. Let’s “Light it Up Blue” by wearing blue shirts to school tomorrow, April 27th. Please remember on this day as you pick out your clothing to choose something that is blue and to always choose kindness. 

 

AP Exams – Advisor – Mrs. Stanley 

Ap Exams will begin May 1 and end on May 12thAll students who are taking a morning AP exam should report to their assigned rooms no later than 7:45 am.  Afternoon exams will begin at 11:45 am.  Bring water and a snack if you are taking 2 exams in 1 day. 

All students regularly assigned to rooms 337 – 340 will be reassigned during AP examsPlease note the days and rooms of your reassigned classes.
