Alright! Summer Camp 2023 here we come!  

I am super excited to say that Sasha Young  is back this year as my Second Year as Summer Camp Director! 

You know here at the FTCC we are looking for the most amazing teens and young adults in our area! 

You must be respectful, responsible, kind, on time, energetic and be ready to engage!  

If you think this opportunity is right for you reach out! Applicants only.  

Parents do not inquire for your teen.  

That is the first step in them being responsible and showing initiative.  

We will begin interviews in March with training in April and May. Please see Guidance for information.  

 

Lawrence Academy – Advisor – Mr. Brown 

Today is the last day of the Lawrence Academy class’s food drive which is going to a local food pantry. Food will be sorted, packed, and shelved by our students. Please look out for flyers and donate whatever you can.

Hey Lawrence! Come one come all! It is time to showcase your talents at the Junior Talent Show! Auditions will take place at the Little Theater on March 22nd at 2:45. The Talent Show will take place on April 19th. Let's make it a fun filled night of singing, dancing, magic, comedy or any other hidden talent you want to show off! Don't be shy come give it a try. We'd love to see what you got! See you on March 22nd at 2:45!

Virtual Enterprise – Advisor – Mr. Palladino 

Congratulations to the Lawrence High School Virtual Enterprise Class, Tornado Watch, for its performance at yesterday's West Hempstead Trade Show. 

 

Stand-in CEO Sivan Feder, CFO Sofia O'Keeffe and birthday-boy Quinn Kerins helped lead Tornado Watch to over $641,000 in sales. Tornado Watch won silver awards for company logo and business card and a gold award for company brochure. 

 

Congratulations to the entire class on an outstanding performance. Stop the hack, we got your back! 

Softball – Advisor Mr. Supple 

Good morning, anyone interested in trying out for softball, practice will be held at Number 2 School on Monday and Tuesday. There will be a one-way bus leaving from the gym hallway at 3PM SHARP!! Please be sure to be on time and on the bus. See you all at practice!! 

Computer Art Club -  Advisor – Ms. DelGuidice 

The Computer Art Club will meet today after school in the Mac Lab room 233. All are Welcome to attend! 

Freshman and Sophomore classes 

The Freshman and Sophomore classes are collecting jeans that are in good condition to help support Sexual Assault Awareness and the fight against Domestic Violence. All jeans, jean jackets, and other denim accessories will be accepted. There will be a bin located in the Main lobby through March 17th. Thank you for your support!
