Freshman Class News – Advisor –Ms. Kind
Hey LHS, it’s the event you have all been waiting for!! The annual Lip Sync Contest will be here in a minute! The Freshman Class will be hosting this fund raiser on May 2nd, at 7:00 pm, for all to attend. It’s a hilarious showdown between students and faculty, an event you don’t want to miss!!
If you are interested in participating as a contestant, form a group, decide on an act and sign up. Where??? Outside of room 229! Space is limited… Only 5 battles, so sign up quickly.

Guidance News!
Attention Juniors!
On Wednesday, April 10th, from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm, Hofstra University will be hosting a College Expo. Over 300 representatives from colleges, trade schools and military will be on hand. Please see your Guidance Counselor for more information.
The Inwood Civic Memorial Scholarship and the Love Linda Scholarship applications are both available in the Guidance Office.
Central Council PTA Scholarship applications are now available in the Guidance Office
A Representative from Herff Jones will be here to take the orders for the caps and gowns on Tuesday, April 16th, 2019, during lunch periods.
Key Club- Advisor – Mr. Mayo
Key Club will be sponsoring Fundraiser in April. Our first Annual Teacher vs. Student Hot dog eating contest. See Mr. Mayo or any Key Club Officer to apply for the contest.
There will be a registration fee of $5.00, per contestant.
Latin American Club – Advisors – Ms. Torres and Mr. Avalos
The Latin American Club will have a meeting on Wednesday, April 11th, at 2:45 pm in room 224. Hope to see you there!
S.A.D.D. –Advisor – Ms. Cammarata
S.A.D.D. would like to ask for everyone’s support this Friday. We are asking for a dollar donation and we will be giving green semi-colon Tattoos. We will be in the main lobby before school and in the cafeteria during periods 5 and 6. You can also see Ms. Cammarata in room 319.

Join us for a Fun day of sun, rides and food at Six Flags, Jackson, NJ, on Thursday, May 23rd.
Cost is $75.00. This will include meal voucher, transportation and a gift.
Cash or money orders are made to “LHS Class of 2019”.
Please use the permission slip from mailing you received or pick it up from Mr. Bayeva, room 121.
Money is due on May 3rd.HURRY!!!
