College Athletics Recruiting Presentation-Advisor-Michael Gordon
We cordially invited you to join us for the College Athletics Recruiting Presentation for parents and students on Monday, April 8th, 2019, at 7:00 PM at the Lawrence H.S. Cafeteria. This great presentation focuses on how to best approach the College selection and recruitment process and develop a realistic and logical plan in trying to play sports at the next level. We hope to see you there!
Italian Culture Club – Advisor – Lorraine Sabio
There will be an Italian Culture Club meeting on Wednesday, April 3rd, at 2:45 pm in room 219. All are welcome.
National Art Honor Society – Advisor- Ms. Ganes
There will be a meeting for the National Art Honor Society today in room 132.
National History Day – Advisor – Mr. Walker
Congratulations to all the students who represented Lawrence at National History Day.
We are so proud of the incredible work you produced. Daniella Andrade received a
special award for her documentary on the Estonian Revolution. Jackie Blyudoy won second place for her documentary on Russian Immigration during the 1980’s. She will move on to the National Competition in Cooperstown. Great job to all! Special thanks to Ms. Wolkoff for participating in National History Day!

The Inwood Civic Memorial Scholarship and the Love Linda Scholarship applications are both available in the Guidance Office.
Central Council PTA Scholarship applications are now available in the Guidance Office.
Don’t forget, Tuesday, April 2nd, the Herff Jones Representative for the caps and gowns will be here during your lunch period..
Key Club- Advisor – Mr. Mayo
Key Club will be sponsoring Fundraiser in April. Our first Annual Teacher vs. Student Hot dog eating contest. See Mr. Mayo or any Key Club Officer to apply for the contest.
There will be a registration fee of $5.00, per contestant.
TRI-M – Advisor – Mr. Batts
You are all invited to attend a concert given by members of the TRI-M Music Honor Society. The Annual TRI-M Recital will take place on Monday at 7:00 PM, at Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library!
