Good morning, please help support the Moms & Dads Football Booster Scholarship Fund. Raffles for the custom made, all-weather, wooden Lawrence Tornadoes flag are available for purchase at any time through venmo @LawrenceFootball for $10 or 3 for $25. The raffle is being selected at halftime of the Homecoming game on Saturday. The flag is currently being displayed in the lobby. Thank you for your support!

Guidance
The High School will be taking a group of 12th graders (and 11th gr ENL students) to the Hispanic College Fair being held at Molloy College on Friday, Oct 28th.
Students will report to school as always and we will leave the school at 10 AM.  We will be back prior to the end of the school day.  Buses will be provided at no charge to us.  More details to follow as we approach the date.

* Today is Intersex Awareness Day. October 26, marks the anniversary of the first public demonstration in 1996 by intersex people in the USA.
* Being intersex is when someone is born with the sex characteristics of both men and women.
The protestors in 1996 spoke out - outside where the American Academy of pediatrics was holding its annual conference. They spoke out against surgeries being performed on intersex babies.
Observance of the intersex day of awareness began on Oct. 26 2003. If you want to learn more about different LGBTQIA+ identities, the join the GSA - Genders and Sexualities alliances in room 219 - meeting on thursdays after school.

Senior class students were sent a google form to fill out to sign up for the visits, they can also come down to the guidance department to pick up a pass if the visit interferes with their class schedule.

Get your BOO Bags for a Buck from Students Against Destructive Decisions. Halloween treats and a special message are available for sale for only $1. See Ms. Confino in room 308 or a SADD member. National Honor Society – Advisor – Mr. Callahan

The National Honor Society will be hosting the Safe Trick or Treat Halloween event tomorrow, October 27th from 5-7pm. Bring your younger family and friends to participate in this great event. There will be Halloween themed activities and trick or treating throughout the classroom for the young trick-or-treater's to partake in. Admission is $5 per family! Nut Free Candy and/or decoration donations for the event can be dropped off to Mr. Callahan’s room in Room 231. Hope to see you all at this Spooktacular event!
