Good morning Lawrencians: It is time to hold elections for Freshman Class. Any freshman who would like to run for Freshman President, Vice President, Treasurer or Secretary should see Mr. Walker in room 331. You must sign your name on the board on the right side of the room. Elections will be held Thursday the 14th
The Lawrence SGA will be hosting the first blue white and gold day on October 24 after school. Three teams will compete in competitive events for the ultimate prize. If you are interested in signing up, you can join the google Classroom cfz4mmy or scan the QR code outside room 331. Hope to see you all there!

Hallway Procedures- Mr. Ballantyne
Attention students, please be reminded that you must have your ID in your possession at all times when you are at Lawrence High School. You must use your ID to scan into the building, your lunch period, and your physical education class. 

If you do not have a lunch period, you must pre-order your lunch and pick it up near the 2nd or 3rd floor elevator. You will not be permitted into the cafe. 

If you have a substitute teacher, or you are assigned a study hall period, you must report to your assigned room. Only students who have absent teachers without a substitute are permitted into the learning center.

Wake up club 
Do you have trouble waking up? Need a little help? You can sign up to receive a wake up call or be a volunteer to make a call. There will be a google form to sign up. Look for it in your grade level google classroom and/or email.
Helpful hints for waking up on time:
Have the same bedtime every night. 
Try for 8 hours of sleep
Lay out your clothes, chromebook, lunch the night before.
Have a buddy that you can rely on.
Wake up calls will begin Monday, October 17th!

JV Girls Volleyball – Advisor – Ms. Dasher

Congrats to the JV girls volleyball team for a great 3-0 sweep Monday verse Locust valley.  This pushes the team to 8-0 on the season! Serving and hitting made all the difference in this win. Kathy Monzon served 11 consecutive serves including 8 aces. Heather Mchale and Arbi  Corbita served 8 consecutive serves each adding 3 ace a piece. Madelyn Ramos, Poonam Bansi and Gina Pasquariello contributed 2 kills each. Hailey Brancaccio lead the team with 2 digs. The girls hit the road on Thursday to face Hempstead at 5pm. “

Senior News

To Cherish the Memories of Lost to Breast Cancer, to Celebrate the Survivors, and to Promote the awareness and screening, the Senior Class officers are running the "Leave your mark of support" in the Lobby on Friday, Oct. 7 starting 7:20 am.

You can leave the note of encouragement on the display board or purchase the Cancer Awareness pins ( $2 to $1 depending on the size), as well as donuts.  Please stop by to show your support.  The proceeds will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, or Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Stay well and remind your loved ones to go for a screening!
