The first meeting for Hebrew Culture Club with our new regional rep will meet today in Art Room 132 at 2:45. Please come to our meet and greet! All Our Welcome! Mark your calendar after today, the next Hebrew Culture Club meeting will be Thursday October 13th.
Tennis Team – Advisor – Mr. Biscardi
The tennis team beat Hempstead yesterday 6 - 1 to improve their record to 5 wins and 2 losses on the season. The team was lead by singles players Arianna Watson, Keyly Interiano, and Ashley Escobar, who dominated their matches losing only 2 games between them the entire match. 1st Doubles Lisa Virula and Andrea Rodriguez, 2nd doubles Thalia Calderon and Mariling Hernandez, and third doubles JoJo Lopez and Yocelyn Cruz all won their matches in decided fashion. Our next home match is Monday against Levittown. Come down to the middle school at 4:30 pm and watch some great tennis.
TRI-M – Advisor – Mr. Krahm
Tri-M Music Honor Society is meeting after school today. The meeting will be brief but cover a few important things. All members MUST be in attendance.
Wrestling – Advisor – Mr. Supple
There will be a wrestling meeting today, September 29 in the cafeteria at 3pm. Anyone interested in joining the wrestling team, JV or Varsity please attend! If you play another sport, sign in at the meeting and then go to practice. Newcomers are welcome! See you there.
Hallway Procedures- Mr. Ballantyne
Attention students, please be reminded that you must have your ID in your possession at all times when you are at Lawrence High School. You must use your ID to scan into the building, your lunch period, and your physical education class.
If you do not have a lunch period, you must pre-order your lunch and pick it up near the 2nd or 3rd floor elevator. You will not be permitted into the cafe.
If you have a substitute teacher, or you are assigned a study hall period, you must report to your assigned room. Only students who have absent teachers without a substitute are permitted into the learning center.
