Day 3

Cross Country- Mr. Callahan

Looking for a great workout? We are looking for students for both our Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams! No experience in running is needed. Practices are every day, after school, at 3:15. Come join us! Any questions see Mr. Callahan in Room 211.

Athletics- Mr. Supple

Attention all student-athletes:

The school doctor will be at the High School on Wednesday, September 7th at 11 o’clock to administer sports physicals.

Check with the nurse to see if your physical is up to date, and if your physical is expired you will be called to the nurses office on Wednesday for a sports physical.

Music Department- Mr. Stabile

Lawrence High School takes pride in announcing that the following students were accepted into the NYSSMA ALL- State Performing Ensembles. Performing in the Symphony Orchestra are Emma Urgen and Matthew Sharin. Performing in the Mixed Chorus is Stephanie Lopez. Literally thousands of students from across New York state auditioned last spring for these prestigious ensembles. Emma , Matthew and Stephanie will travel to Rochester this December and perform at the world renowned Eastman School of Music Concert Hall. We are so proud of them!

LHS Color Guard- Mr. Stabile

Do you like to perform or dance? Are you looking for a new way to show your Lawrence Pride? Maybe join your first club at LHS? The Color Guard is featured with the Band at the Fall Pep Rally, Homecoming and the Memorial Day Parades. We now have openings for all grade levels including 9th graders. First practice is next Monday Sept 12 at 7pm in the Cafeteria. No experience necessary.

Student IDs- Mr. Ballantyne

Any students who needs a new ID should see Mr. Ballantyne in the art gallery across from the auditorium during periods 4, 5, and 6 this week. Students who do not have their IDs beginning next week are subject to detention.

Students with Chromebook Issues

Mr. Wiebke will be in the old dance studio across from the auditorium every day this week during periods 4, 5, and 6 to help all students who need chrome book repairs. Students must bring their chrome book and charger with them to get a replacement. Stolen and Lost chargers will not be replaced by the school and students must purchase their own replacements if they lose their charger.
