Academy/Life Skills Careers Class – Advisor – Mr. Brown
Due to the overwhelming support of the Lawrence High School Students and Staff during the recent “Spring Sale”, the Academy/Life Skills Careers Class was able to donate $100.00 to UNISEF in its efforts to support the children of the Ukraine. Thank you all so much for your support during this fundraising effort.
African American Club – Advisor – Mr. Avalos
There will be an African American Club meeting today after school in room 222. New members are always welcome. See you there!
Model Congress – Advisor – Ms. Gerard
Attention Lawrence High School Students, the 52nd Lawrence Model Congress is happening tomorrow, April 30th! Our theme is through the decades. If you would like to come to our congress please speak to any board members specifically Gabrielle Domanas. The week before we will intensively prepare for hosting over 200 people. Also if you would like to buy our amazing pink Model Congress shirt it is $17 and is going FAST! Remember to speak to the board members about anything congress related!
Poetry Contest
The 2nd Annual Poetry Contest deadline has been extended until Monday. There are exciting prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners! Students, Faculty and Staff are all invited to participate. See your English teachers for more details.
