African American Club- Advisor- Ms. Cammarata
When speaking about great black figures, people never fail to mention the extraordinary Harriet Tubman. Join the African America club, Mr. Avalos and Ms. Cammarata as we honor her. Girl trek, a national health movement for Black Women of America which promotes self-care through walking is hosting a nationwide celebration of Harriet Tubman’s 200th Birthday. On Thursday, March 10th, we will be walking 2.2 miles on the Lawrence High School Track at 2:45pm as we celebrate her inspirational legacy. Please contact Ms. Cammarata, Mr. Avalos or any African club board members with any questions. Information on how to participate will be displayed outside of rooms 223 and 222. We invite the entire HS community to participate. 
Battle of the Classes- Advisor- Mr. Walker 
This week is SPIRIT WEEK. Today is pajama day. Remember you don’t want to miss out on a great opportunity to make memories because you never know what the future holds. Thank you for all of the grades and officers for an amazing battle of the classes yesterday and a special thank you to SGA and Mr. Walker. 
Tennis Team-Advisor-Mr. Biscardi
Tennis Anyone? There will be a meeting Monday, March 7th in room 309 for any boys interested in playing tennis. Please come down and sign up, learn how to play a great sport that you can play for the rest of your life. The season starts March 21. If you have any questions see Mr. Biscardi or Zion Scoot for answers. Monday, room 309 at 2:45pm. Be there!!! 

Senior Class- Advisor- Ms. Bayeva
Is bowling up your alley? Got some time to spare? Ge your bowling shows shined- We are going to Woodmere lanes Bowling Alley on Wednesday, March 9th, from 4-6pm! The cost is $20 and it includes 2 games, shoes, pizza and soda. Sign up on the Google form on the class page. You can pay cash in room 121 or Venmo to Ms. Bayeva.
