Main office News

Beginning next Monday, students without a lunch period will NOT be permitted in the Cafeteria to get lunch unless they have received an "L-Pass" from the main office that they must present to security. The L-Pass will go on the back of your student ID.
How to get an L-Pass? Come down to the main office and see Mr. Ballantyne.
Bring your student ID. Once you have an L-Pass, you must use the Choosi app in order to pre-order lunch. This will allow you to pick up your lunch without waiting in line in the cafe. Once you pick up your lunch, you must eat quickly in the cafe before returning right to class. Students should be no more than 15 minutes late to class when using their L-Pass.

Hispanic Heritage Month coincides with the independence of many Central American nations:
Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua declared their independence from Spain on September 15, 1821.  Mexico and Chile declared independence in September 1810, and Belize declared independence from Great Britain in September 1981.
Activities and events this month celebrate the contributions these communities have made to American society.
On Fridays’ Lawrence High School will be playing Hispanic music in between classes to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
