Lawrence the SGA will be having pink out today and next Wednesday to support Breast Cancer Awareness! Please wear a pink article of clothing next Wednesday. Thanks for your Support!
Senior Class
Dear Lawrence Community, October is the Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Senior Class is inviting you to join the team of supporters and asking you to spread awareness and promote early diagnostics . The long sleeve t-shirts are available for purchase and the link should be uploaded on your respectful Class es Google Classroom pages. Make yourself noticed and let others see the message of Hope! The Senior Class will be donating proceeds to the Breast Cancer Foundation to support the research! Additionally, we are selling the Lawrence Apparel - hoodies and crewnecks - cozy and warm - just tight for the colder weather@
National Honor Society
To continue with the Safe Trick or treating tradition, the National Honor Society is inviting the Clubs Advisors and Clubs to make this year's event frightfully joyous!!! Please email Dr. Yochai and Ms. Bayeva about your ideas and we are humbly accepting the candy donations to make it sooo very special this year!!!
Gay Straight Alliance (GSA)
The Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) club's first meeting will be on Thursday October 24th in room 107 at 2:45.
FHA and SADD
ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS AND SENIORS! Our Biannual BLOOD DRIVE is taking place Monday, October 28th periods 2-8 in the gym. Everyone who donates receives a free gift and snacks! YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 16 years old. If you are 16 you need to get a permission slip from room 317 from Ms. Weinstein and bring the signed
permission slip with you the day that you donate blood. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DONATE WITHOUT THE SIGNED PERMISSION SLIP IF YOU ARE 16. If you are 17 there is no permission slip required. PLEASE consider donating. You can receive 2 hours of community service and every pint of blood saves 3 lives! The donation process will take between 1-2 periods and you cannot schedule during a class where you have a test. There is a national blood shortage and NY Blood center is in dire need of your donation. Faculty and staff are welcome as well. Just sign up by scanning the QR code on any of the posters around the school or come to room 317 if you can't find one. THANK YOU!!

Boys Varsity Soccer
The Boy's Varsity Soccer Team is in the Playoffs! The team hosts Friends Academy in a quarterfinal match this Thursday October 24th @ 3PM on our Home Turf. Come out after school and support the Team! We hope to see you there!, And Let's Go Tornadoes!!
Girls Basketball JV/Varsity Meeting
The Shadow knows that basketball is the best sport on the planet!!! If you are female and you are interested in playing basketball whether Varsity or JV come to the meeting today in the Cafeteria at 3:30 Wednesday 10/23/24!!! Even if you are not interested in playing basketball, you should come to the meeting and play basketball!!! Whether you have lots of skill or have never played the game before...you should play basketball!!! By the way, if you haven't received the message yet you should play basketball!!! Career Life Skills/Academy Class
Join the Careers Life Skill/Academy Class, this Friday October 25th, during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd periods in the front lobby, as we sell Fall Themed Hershey Bars to kick off the fall season. Come on by and say hello. We hope to see you this Friday!
