On February 7, the Lawrence High School Math Club participated in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC).  This competition is administered to high school students across the country, and is designed to build problem solving skills and mathematical knowledge while fostering talent and a love of mathematics.  The competition involves completing 25 rigorous questions in 75 minutes, stretching students to their mathematical and creative limits. Our top scorer this year on the AMC 10 is John Chen, with honorable mention to Zaiff Khan and Syed Bukhari, and our top scorer on the AMC 12 is Andrew Velasquez-Berroteran with honorable mention to Roshan Reddy and Jordan Garry.
